De watched as Kameron skillfully manuevered her way through the first ring. He matched her move, doing a barrel roll through the flaming ring. Twisting out of the roll, De looked down to see a small hole the size of a cigarette on his shirt.
Darn! Oh well, she can't come out perfect, either!

((LOL, we'll see about that))
Kameron whizzed through another ring, but this time it wasn't surrounded by flames. She was coming up to the poles. She sped up a bit as she approached the challenging obstacles. She weaved in and out of the poles, carefully not to hit her broom on any or she would slow down drastically. She safely made it through the poles, then looked over to see how De was doing.

((Lol))
De flew through the ring, right behind Kameron. It didn't seem that she had a scratch on her. He would have to fix that. Zipping through the poles, De made sure to get a small flame on his broom. He then flew straight at Kameron's back, hoping to sear her shirt a bit.
Hope this works!

((Tehe))
Kameron ducked. She felt something touch the back of her shirt, but it felt more like a poke than a sear. She zoomed ahead, past the painted spikes and on to a row of firey rings.
Here we go...
she thought, narrowing her eyes. She did several cork-screw spins through three rings of fire.

De growled, seeing that his plan didn't have a very big effect. It was time to kic it up a notch. Arrving at the last set of rings, De stood up and jumped off of his broom, letting it fly through the first ring. He then landed back on his feet, using the smae technique for the rest of the rings. Landing for the last time, De used the sudden additon of weight pn the back to catapult he and his broom into the air.
After flying about twenty additional feet into the air, De moved hard to the front of his broom, leaning down. This caused the broom to nosedive towards Kameron and the finish line.
C'mon!
((We should've had them place a bet on the race!))

De was right on Kameron tail. She sped up. She was sure she'd win. Almost positive.
"Almost there..."
Kam said to herself as she zoomed toward the finish line. She weaved up and down through some poles and--WHOOSH--De and Kam whizzed through the finish line.
Dead tie.

De breathed heavily as he came to a stop after crossing the finish line. It was really close the whole way, and De knew that a tie or Kameron's victory would be the outcome. Turning to Kameron, he held out his hand and congratulated her. "That was a nice race", complimented De, smiling.
She gave me a run for my money!

"Yep," Kam replied, shaking De's hand. She landed on the ground and walked with her broom over to a bench. "So, it was a tie," she stated.

De also flew to the ground, sitting down on the bench. Looking up at the obstacle course, his additions faded away. Mieux happily stomped over to De, nestling it's head on the half-elf's lap. De scratched Mieux's neck lovingly, smiling down at his pet.
"You're a really good rider. I was afraid that I would lose!, he chuckled, still stroking Mieux. Suddenly, a thought came into his mind. "Hey, would you like to go for a ride?", asked De, motioning to Mieux.

Kameron looked to where De pointed.
"Uhh... sure, I guess so,"
she said. She laid her broom an the bench she was near, making sure there were no scratches on it. She then examined her clothing. There was some spots of dirt, but no burns.
