Hate me today......
Maria entered the forest. A grim look was upon her face. She walked to a tree and stood underneath of it, eyes closed. She had just had a dream, a bad one. She opened her eyes again, at the sound of russeling bushes behind her. She moved farther into the forest, afraid of what might be behnd her.
Running, she jumped over a stream, and then slid underneath a rock. Stopping, she tried to catch her breathe. Her face was towards the ground, and she was panting. A twig snapped. Her head jerked up, and her eyes widened.
Hate me tomorrow.....
A Basilisk was in front of her. It towered over her body, reaching a full 12 feet tall. It hissed, and snapped its head towards her. She screamed and threw a tree at it. Literally. The Basilisk caught it in its mouth, and threw it aside. She began to run, away from it, towards what she hoped was the school grounds.
As she ran, she noticed that she wasnt going anywhere near the grounds. Tripping over a rock, she landed on her arm. A snapp rang out through the woods. The Basilisk was on her now, hissing and snarling. If you can even imagin a giant snake snarling.
Hate me so you can finally, see whats good, for you.....
It opened its mouth, and bore straight at her, fangs dripping with poison. She screamed again, and sent Clover out of her pocket for help.
At the edge of the woods, Clover began to grow, turning into a black leopard and roared, calling for help. He sat down and waited for someone to answer.

No need for the cat to help. A draconic roar came forth from the forest, and something that looked half-human, half dragon strode forward, the eyes having a film over them. It roared a challenge at the Basilisk, claws outstretched. It's tail flicked around angrilly, however gently picking Maria up and placing her out of danger's way. The hands grabbed the creature's neck, keeping the fangs away from doing major harm.
(Sorry my post ish so small comapred to yours >_<)

(((OOC: Ah, dont worry. I had plenty of time to think of it. Thats why its so big.)))
Maria was scared to death. She had totally forgotten about her earth power. She was crying histerically, and never even noticed Kros picking her up. That is, until he set her down.
Looking up, she saw him as half dragon. His eyes had a film cover over them, and he was roaring out in challenge. She racked her brain for thoughts on how to help, but how do you fight a 20 foot tall lizard?! She stood up shakily, and popped her broken arm back into place. Grmiacing in pain, she squatted down on the earth. Raising her hand slowly, she brought three inch thick roots up from the ground. Launching them at the beast, they didnt go very fast. But of course, that was because she was injured badly. Falling to her knees, her blonde hair fell on her shoulders.

If you don't know how to fight a big lizard, you've never been Dragon Kros when he's pissed. He put the snake in a strangehold, his claws tearing at the Basilisk's eyes, rendering them useless. Avoiding the fangs now, Dragon Kros put his two clawed hadns in the Basalisk's mouth, and pulled in opposite directions, waiting until he heard the snap of it's jaw breaking.
Something that might have seemed odd to Maria, however, was that the Kros she'd seen, was a big scardey-cat. What with the sudden change now? Ok, maybe being huge and having muscles upon muscles helped, but still...

Maria heard the snap of jaws breaking, and looked up to see the big lizard falling to the ground with a crash. She tried to stand up, but the basiliak had pretty much ripped her to shreads. She heard Clover come back. He was still in his leopad form. Rubbing his face on hers, she smiled weakly.
Turning her head to Kros, she croaked, "Thank you." Her hand falling from Clover's head, she fell to the ground. Blood dripped off of her, from where the basilisk had tore into her.
Clover laid down next to her, and set his head on her stomach, waiting for her to get up.

Dragon Kros looked from his work, making his way over to Maria in three long strides.
"Where... Does it... Hurt..."
He asked, teh vocie sort of rumbling. Hey, dragons weren't made to speak human. The dragon stiffened, as the wings started to become feathery, the color of fire, and he started to shrink, around the size of a pheonix.

She thought about that question. It hurt everywhere, especially on her stomach, arms, head and legs. She moaned and pointed to those areas. On her stomach, a large cut was drawn, and blood had pooled on her stomach and come to rest in a pool in her cut shirt.
Her legs and arms were just little cuts, and her head had smashed into the ground when she hit it. Her left arm was also broken, but she doubted that a Pheonix would be able to heal her broken arm.
Gasping and clutching her stomach, she said,"Please, my.....stomach hurts.....the worst." She moaned and looked up at the sky.

Where Dragon Kros had been, there was now a small Pheonix. It hopped onto Maria's chest, leaning it's head down and pecking the shirt away. Once the wound was open, the Pheonix started to cry, it's healing tears spreading across the cut on her stomach. Sure, he might have been a guy, but he was a bird now, and he thought that Maria would forgive him for hopping around as a bird on Maria's chest while healing her.

Maria laughed inside. His kind of tickled when he hoped around on her. She didnt mind though, just as long as he healed her. When her stomach was done, she sat up a little bit, and stroked Kros's head. She clicked her tongue, and Clover shrank back down to small house cat size. Standing up, she picked up Kros and set him on her shoulder.
"Thanks again." Kissing his beak, she smiled. He was a great friend.

The Pheonix bowed it's head, prenning it's wing feathers, embarrased. It made a few clicking nosies, hopping down from her shoulder and hanging onto her clothes as the Pheonix moved onto other wounds. Better to do a full job than a half job.
