She could tell that he was embarassed. She looked away as he finished healing her. She felt much better, definatly not so light headed.
"So, how'd you know I was out here? Was it Clover that got you?"

The Pheonix nodded it's head, now hopping back onto Maria's shoulders, it's wings opening and closing to steady itself. That, and he heard the yelling, so that was a good incentive. The Pheonix now cocked it's head to the side, as if to ask "Can I change back now?"

Laughing, Maria nodded. "Yeah. Im better now. You can change back."
Watching him change was cool. She had never see anything like that before. "Have you ever, flown before?" She had always wanted to fly. Walking towards where Clover had been laying.

The Pheonix hopped off of Maria's shoulder, nodding it's head as it landed, and started to grow, feathers falling off and shiverling into nothingness, skin and clothes forming over it instead. After a few mintues, there was a tired boy where the Pheonix once was.
"Yes... But it's tiring.. Better on a broom..."

"I see. But still, it was fun, right?" Laughing, she pulled twigs and leaves from her hair. Blood matted on her head and made her hair clingy. Putting Clover in his pocket, she walked around.
"I didnt expect to get attacked. When I heard something rustling behind me, I ran farther into the forest. Whatever was in that bush, probably wouldnt have hurt me. But that...that basilisk..." She shuddered. Not ever wanting to remember that moment in her life.

"It's a workout to fly... You always have to take countless breaks..."
Kros said, shaking his head a bit. He was silent while Maria talked about the Basalisk, then replied
"It wasn't that scary... As a Dragon, I mean... It can't kill you if it doesn't have direct contact to the eyes..."
