Christina walked into the ballroom making her entrance as low~profile as she could. Christina was wearing a elegant Black and red lace dress showing her back and shoulder's having her black lace choker and armlet's on too and her~hair was down though her black headband remained prodomanantly in~place.
Chrissy let out a small sigh half closing her aqua~marine eye's and looking around for a seat... she was about the only girl who hated dancing in any~way shape or form though she did like her ballroom dresses and liked to show them off...
locating herself a seat in a quieter corner of the room she moed her~way accross tucking her dress behind her leg's as she sat~down picking at the long dress slightly bored...

Illya didn't care who saw him. IN fact, the more the better. He peobply did turn heads in the half formal way he had dressed, His crimson long sleeve dress shirt with the top few buttons undone and dark slacks that he had chosen for the occasion making it seem like he had decided to come at the last minute... though it still looked good on him. The demonic leader's face had a look of bemusement on it at he watched the others on the floor before he by chance saw a cascade of familiar blond locks and that unmistakable headband.
Christina. Illya thought absently to himself, casting his gaze over in her direction.

Christina sighed leaning on the table near to her half~closing her aqua eye's that seemed to be growing darker as boredom struck her. Christina was just in a 'A one of those mood's' at the moment and just needed something to take her mind off of it.
running her eye's half~open eye's accross the ballroom she couldn't help notice someone's fammiliar face having just entered the room. She stopped leaning on the table and rested her hand's one over the other in her lap wondering if he had actually noticed her but didn't want to attract attention either... In any otherword's her feeling's for illya where confused and often not thought of untill he was nearby...

HE made it known to Christina that he had seen her with one of his seldomly seen full smiles, though he turned away from her and took his time moving around the middle of the room to get to her. When he finally did make it to her, the brunette nodded slightly to her.
"Christina." One word, a simple greeting to most, but sometimes simple words spoke volumes. The Russian sat down next to her, pulling up a chair easily and straddling it backwards.

Christina looked up at him her delicate expression remained untelling apart from a fain curl in her lip. "Illya..." she said calmly meeting his eye's for a few second's before looking down and messing around with her armlet's...
She wasn't sure how to act around him and not being much of a conversationalist herself didn't help matter's... Christina was expecting illya to have a partner to~follow but saw no~one. "You came alone?..." she asked softly looking back up from her laced armlet's meeting his gaze once~more her eye's returning to their more aqua marine colour.

Illya watched her response to him, and he felt slight... (Disappointment? That had to be it.) when he received not much of a response. The teen chuckled softly at her question, a shake of his head part of his response. "It 'vas ah spur of zha moment thing." He replied, his eyes meeting hers. Besides, who would he have taken? Maria was busy taking care of Cayne for him, last he had seen her, and no one else really was of interest to him anyway...
The Russian raised one eyebrow as their eyes met, a question of his own on his lips. "And vhat about you? Certinaly a pretty gurl vike you would haf no problem finding a partner."

Christina's eye's broke away at these word's looking down shamefully. "I have no~one..." she muttered sounding only slightly bothered by the fact. "I guess i don't let people close~enougth too me to really know anyone..." she half~heartedly smiled up at him.
she looked accross at the dance~floor seemingly half~full watching the younger couples smiling and laughing generally having a good~time.

For a person who usually lacked empathy, her words seemed to bother Illya somewhere in the back of his mind. His arm rested on the table and his fingers drummed into a beat into the wood. "I zee..." He half muttered, looking at her, though his mind was elsewhere.
"'Zhough sometimes people don't deserve to be close." That Narcissistic attitude again... His ocean blue eyes closed and then reopened, catching the girl looking out at the floor. He smirked inwardly. "Doo you wizh to dance?"

Christina blinked her eye's widening slightly unsure. "I.. Ican't dance..." she said instantly mentally scowlding herself. ~Oh great now he know's you can't dance either well~done...~ she looked down and away though she wouldn't have minded at~all but had no~idea of the conception of a ballroom dance at~all...

The boy laughed, though it wasn't a mean one, just amused. Illya looked down at her with that smile again, one that seemed to come out more and more for her. "Vat least your honest about it." He said, standing up and pushing the chair away. Honest. Right. He was such a hypocrite... But it didn't matter to Illya.
The Russian teen looked down and extended one hand to the sitting girl, a serious look in his eye. "Zen allow me tu teach you, Miz. Christina."
