Quickly, light blue crystals grew in Xero's hand. He threw them around, ice coming out to lower the temperature and to keep the room intact. And if they melted, Rarel would get hit by the water.

The sudden cold chilled Rarel slightly and he reverted to his normal form. He looked around at the room. "Sorry, shouldn't of lost my temper." he said. "Although Xero shouldn't be insulting me."

"Obviously it worked." Xero said dryly. "I got you to use more power. NExt time, don't beat yourself up, or I'll be forced to it again. Meanwhile, congratulations. You've earned a prize." He held forth a grey egg and a paper booklet. "Kam already knows what this is."

((OOC: Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I'm kinda lost... the hologram is defeated? I skimmed through tthe posts, and one said the hologram disappeared, so I'm guessing we beat it..))
Kameron stopped her blast of fire. She interfered between the boys' bickering. "You know what guys, the holoroom is for teamwork strengthening, not just power practice. C'mon, either quit arguing or quit talking to each other period."
She hadn't really heard their whole conversation, due to the battle against the hologram, which in this case seemed to be quite a bit abnormal, so she did the best she could to respond to them.
She looked at Xero's crystal. Every time she saw one, she just couldn't take her eyes off of it's sparkles.

"This grey egg may look like a crystal, but in reality it is a dragling egg." Xero explained. "This booklet tells you all the research I have on draglings, come from my on, Ist. Come on out, Ist." A black dragling flew out of his sleeve, about the size of his thumb. It wrapped around his index finger.

Kameron smiled at the adorable creature. "My egg hasn't hatched yet," she told Xero, "but I'm hoping it's a male so I can name him Xeru, after the person who gave it to me. If's it's a female, it will be Xera or Xeri." She pulled the tiny egg out of her pocket. She rubbed it in her palm. She felt it jump a little. "It'll be here soon," she said with a grin.

Rarel took the tiny egg and rolled it around in his palm. "Hmm. Could be interesting." he said and pocketed the egg in a small pocket in his jeans, making sure he couldn't harm it.
"I guess I may not quite of said it out loud and full yet, so here it is. I'm a half-fairy. My mother's side is fairies and half-fairies." he said. "So Xero you aren't the only half-human in here. And before anyone asks, yes I actually do have wings, well I can have them if I want."

"I'm not technically half-human. Technically I'm three-fourths human, as my father was a Dracon, and those are half-human, half-dragon." Xero said testily. "Though there have been enough of them over the years to warrant a name for the species."

"Oh, then I have less human in me than you do. That's interesting." Rarel said, looking around at the stone walls. He suddenly felt hot and confined. The air was so thick and reused and stale. There was no nature in here.
Quickly the half-fairy dashed from the room and out onto a balcony. He took deep breaths of the fresh air, letting nature flow back into him. The wind almost seemed to speak to him, to calm and soothe him. Seeming to tell him "Calm down my child, I'm always with you."
Rarel nodded at the statement he seemed to hear. He looked up and saw the sea rolling below. It's sapphire depths so gorgeous.

Kam felt like she was being ignored. "Uh--uh, did you hear me, Xero? I said I am going to name my dragling after you, because you gave me the egg," she said, clearing her throat a bit at the beginning of her sentence.
